Laura's Wedding

 

Laura and Dave got married in February 2008.

 

They commissioned us to make the jewellery for their three bridesmaids who were in chocolate brown dresses with burnt orange flowers. 

 

 Laura's chief bridesmaid wore a strapless dress so we made her a dramatic drop necklace and coordinating earings.

 

Both the necklace and earings were made using square burnt orange glass beads that shimmer gold when the light catches them.

 

The necklace hangs on a simple gold chain.  To coordinate it with the bracelets and earrings worn by the other two bridesmaids we added a brown thread.

 

The other two bridesmaids wore bolero jackets which meant that their neck line did not lend itself to a necklace.

 

Instead we made them bracelets and matching earrings using multi-facetted beads in the same colour as the chief bridesmaid's.

 

The beads were knotted into brown and gold thread to created a delicate but eye catching effect.
